If you want to maximize the worksheet view display area to show as many cells as possible, especially after splitting the main view, you hide all displayed elements except the cells. To do this:

• Click the table toolbar or use the View > Table Toolbar command to hide it.
• On the View > Headings & Scrollbars de-select:
  
  • Column Headings
  • Row Headings
  • Horizontal Scrollbar
  • Vertical Scrollbar

All changes individually for each view. The final result can result like on the following screen:
